As a Senior Consultant, Tony Carrino has been supporting asset optimization efforts for clients in North America, Latin America, and Europe since 2003. His broad experience in both domestic US and international power sectors includes over 29 years experience of power asset management, operations and maintenance in business and technical leadership roles. As a division Vice President, Tony supported operational readiness for new plants as well as the business and technical support functions for Dynegy Generation’s gas turbine fleet of 6,500 MWs. Prior to Dynegy he was Managing Director – Latin America in Illinova Generating Company’s Asset Management group and held various positions in Illinois Power Company.

Tony is a graduate of the University of Illinois- Urbana-Champaign, earning an Executive MBA degree. Additionally, Tony holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Southern Illinois University. Tony is a regular contributing editor to Power Engineering magazine.
