Solomon Associates recently announced the promotions of three key executives:
• Bill Trout was named vice president of refining studies. Trout will lead the company’s definitive benchmarking studies for refiners, including the Worldwide Fuels Refinery Performance Analysis (Fuels Study) and the Worldwide Paraffinic Lube Refinery Performance Analysis (Lube Study), as well as specialty studies and the company’s 3D Analysis offering.
• Russell Brown was promoted to vice president of consulting. In this role, Brown will lead Solomon Associates’ consulting teams in delivering data-driven performance improvement to operators of refineries, chemical plants, pipelines, terminals, and power generation facilities worldwide.
• Stephen Wright was named vice president of Europe and Middle East operations. He will also serve as managing director of Solomon Associates Ltd., the company’s U.K. entity. Wright succeeds Lawrence (Lawrie) Anness, retiring after a four-decade career that has included 21 years with Solomon Associates.
