Today, he serves Solomon as a refinery management and performance benchmarking expert. Andy holds  a special interest and expertise in refinery management, operations, maintenance, site appraisal, and performance development issues.</p>
<p>In addition to general refinery management, he has held head office and site posts covering most manufacturing and associated activities, and has participated in projects around the world involving all aspects of refining and LNG. He has a wide knowledge of Solomon benchmarking processes and his work is focused on client appraisal and improvement programs. He also currently serves a one of the main presenters of the company&#8217;s performance analysis presentations throughout Europe.</p>

<p>Bob specializes in developing the Crude, Product, and Chemical Price Assessments used in the Worldwide Fuels, Lube, and Olefin Studies. With this background, he helps develop the Financial Performance Analysis for the Studies.</p>
<p>Bob holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Magna Cum Laude from the University of Illinois.</p>

<p>Celia has more than a decade of industrial experience spanning research, product/business development, technical service, and project management. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering/Polymer Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.</p>

Over the last 38 years, Don has acquired an in-depth knowledge of the refining industry through a combination of studying, analyzing, and hands-on management experience, which he applies to helping clients identify their performance gaps.</p>
<p>Before joining Solomon in 1990, Don worked for Chevron USA and Champlin Petroleum Company. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&#038;M and a Masters of Business Administration from Phillips University.</p>

<p>As a licensed chemical engineer, Don leverages his background with companies including Total and ARCO Chemical in tandem with his expertise in technology, economics, benchmarking, and database manipulation to provide insight to clients around the world. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University.</p>

He brings to Solomon considerable expertise with business process re-engineering, multiple SAP and other CMMS implementations, mechanical design, rotating equipment design and maintenance, construction and startup of chemical process plants, personnel performance management, and general management techniques.</p>
<p>During his time with Solomon, Doug has gained extensive experience in reliability information and management systems, maintenance information systems, custom application development, configuration, training, and functional analysis, and excels at business process engineering. He has led cost-reduction petrochemical projects with the goal of improving maintenance effectiveness to world-class standards. Doug is a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas (#77255) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.</p>

<p>Prior to joining Solomon, Jamie spent more than 30 years with Pennzoil and its successor companies (Pennzoil-Quaker State and Shell) managing all aspects of the base oil business. He holds two degrees in chemical engineering – a Master of Science degree from Marshall University and a B.S. from Grove City College in Pennsylvania.</p>

He is a chemical engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech.</p>

In addition to holding a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from New Mexico State University, he has amassed 18 issued and 2 pending U.S. patents in process modeling, optimization and control, air emissions monitoring, and process control benchmarking.</p>

John also developed and managed Solomon’s <em>Worldwide Refinery Quality Control Performance Analysis (QC Study)</em>.</p>
<p>Prior to joining Solomon, John had a wide ranging international management and consulting career in the downstream petroleum industry spanning 35 years. His petroleum industry experience includes economics and planning, petroleum supply and trading, energy risk management, quality management, energy marketing, and process operations.</p>
<p>John has a BS and MS in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Dallas. He is a registered Professional Engineer (Texas).</p>
