			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-4066" title="bio-a_poling" src="http://solomononline.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/bio-a_poling1.jpg" alt="" width="170" height="274" />A mechanical engineer with more than 25 years of experience as a maintenance and reliability professional, Al Poling has held plant and corporate leadership positions with Union Carbide Corporation, Rhone Poulenc, SCM Chemicals, Albemarle Corporation, Shell Chemical, and KRATON Polymers.  Most recently, he served as technical director for the Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP), where he managed the development and publication of maintenance and reliability metrics. Poling holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering technology from Fairmont State University and has been a Certified Maintenance &amp; Reliability Professional (CMRP) since 2002. He has joined the company as project manager for the company’s International Study of Plant Reliability and Maintenance Effectiveness (RAM Study).</p>

Today, he serves Solomon as a refinery management and performance benchmarking expert. Andy holds  a special interest and expertise in refinery management, operations, maintenance, site appraisal, and performance development issues.</p>
<p>In addition to general refinery management, he has held head office and site posts covering most manufacturing and associated activities, and has participated in projects around the world involving all aspects of refining and LNG. He has a wide knowledge of Solomon benchmarking processes and his work is focused on client appraisal and improvement programs. He also currently serves a one of the main presenters of the company&#8217;s performance analysis presentations throughout Europe.</p>

Bill is currently a Senior Energy Consultant at Solomon and now focuses on CPA activities for pipelines.</p>
<p>In addition to his engineering abilities, his simulation modeling skills span several software packages, including HYSYS, PROII, HX-Net, ProSteam, SuperTarget, STX/ACX, and many proprietary programs. Bill is a Chemical Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University.</p>

<p>Bob specializes in developing the Crude, Product, and Chemical Price Assessments used in the Worldwide Fuels, Lube, and Olefin Studies. With this background, he helps develop the Financial Performance Analysis for the Studies.</p>
<p>Bob holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Magna Cum Laude from the University of Illinois.</p>

<p>Celia has more than a decade of industrial experience spanning research, product/business development, technical service, and project management. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering/Polymer Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.</p>

<p>During his time with Solomon, Doug has gained extensive experience in reliability information and management systems, maintenance information systems, custom application development, configuration, training, and functional analysis, and excels at business process engineering. He has led cost-reduction petrochemical projects with the goal of improving maintenance effectiveness to world-class standards. Doug is a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas (#77255) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.</p>
