With nearly 30 years of experience, Rick Jones is currently responsible for quantitative risk analysis and statistical applications development at Solomon. He uses his background in corporate-level industrial risk management and tenure in research and as a university professor to help Solomon’s clients around the world improve their performance.
A seasoned statistician and mathematician, Rick has developed innovative methods of identifying, quantifying, and financing industrial risk exposures for business risk management as well as proprietary techniques for engineering project valuation, and directed strategic consulting services for industrial maintenance and reliability improvement programs. He holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Science & Engineering and a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
