International management consulting firm specializing in performance improvement consulting to the energy industry is looking for an experienced senior engineering professional to serve as a Senior Consultant for our Refining business unit. The Consultant will work with other professionals on benchmarking studies and performance improvement consulting assignments.

The position involves data analysis, project management, technical/operational consulting, client relations, and business development (industry contacts a plus) in delivering services to our worldwide client base. Top-notch technical and analytical skills, and advanced computer application skills (spreadsheets, databases and graphics) are required. The position also requires an understanding of the broad business issues facing the refining industry and an in-depth understanding of the economic driving forces.

We prefer candidates with experience in the following areas:

• Economic Feasibility
• Energy Conservation and Management

The successful candidate will have 10–20 years experience in refining or refining consulting and be interested in joining a dynamic consulting firm with ambitious expansion and growth plans. Excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to function effectively in diverse cultures are a must. Applicants must have an engineering degree, preferably chemical engineering, and be willing to travel domestically and overseas. MBA and foreign language skills are a plus.
